Download VLC media player from its official website and install it.

The IPTV South Africa subscription includes access to the service and your login details for IPTV Smarters Pro. Player apps are made by independent developers: on some Smart TVs, the app works with the TV's MAC address and asks for a paid activation from its developer. That amount is separate from the subscription and is not included in our prices.
To avoid an unnecessary purchase, ask us which app suits your device before you pay. If your TV does not offer one, a Fire TV Stick or an Android box with IPTV Smarters Pro is a simple alternative.
Troubleshooting: buffering, slow loading or a stuttering picture
- Close and reopen the player app.
- Restart the router (and the fibre box if you have one), then the device (TV, box or phone).
- Connect the device with a network cable or use 5 GHz Wi-Fi, closer to the router.
- Measure the speed on the device you watch on: about 25 Mbps for 4K, less for HD.
- Check that only one screen is using the subscription (1 connection at a time).
- After a power cut, wait until the router and fibre box have fully restarted before opening the app.
- If the problem continues, message support on WhatsApp with the device, the channel and the time it happened.
